John Edgar, DDS, FAGD
Dr. John C. Edgar received his Bachelor of Science with distinction in Biology from the University of Arizona. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in 1978. Dr. Edgar has pursued postgraduate education aggressively and has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after completing and documenting over 500 hours of coursework and passing the Fellowship exam.
Dr. Edgar is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Edgar enjoys providing all phases of general dentistry and continues to pursue coursework in all phases with an emphasis on Dental aesthetics, periodontics and implants.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Edgar enjoys a healthy lifestyle with his family, which includes running, marathons , cycling, fishing and other physical activities.
